don't do it without me
“Lord, whatever you’re doing in this season, don’t do it without me.” These words from the song, Don’t Do It Without Me by Bishop Paul S. Morton, is nothing short of a testimony for two members of Red Oak United Methodist Church that are currently going through their own healing journey. They show each day that God is not finished with them yet! As we enter the Advent and Christmas season, Red Oak United Methodist Church would like to feature these courageous individuals to highlight what God is doing in this healing season!
We hope the stories of Reverend Ronald Grooms and Nichelle Ross remind you that whatever God is doing in this season, we can all make a simple request, “Lord, whatever you’re doing in this season, please don’t do it without me.” As we enjoy this holiday season and reminiscence of all that God has done and the hopes of things to come, we are prayerful, grateful, and reminded to not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7-NIV version)
Wishing you joy and peace this holiday season from Red Oak United Methodist Church!
