Finding Your Faith
What is faith?
Have you ever believed that whatever difficulty you are facing will improve? If you have experienced this, you have experienced exactly what faith is. Faith is believing that God will make a way. Most theologians would say that the act of faith is knowing that one’s condition will improve without knowing how it will happen. Hebrews 11:1 reads, “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.”
Furthermore, faith is not a hope or a wish. It is the undeniable assurance of knowing that all things are possible even if you do not understand how they come to pass. If you believe in God, falling into faith is easier than what you may think. Despite today’s tumultuous times of political unrest, the COVID-19 health crisis, and racial injustice, you must have faith that your future is not ruled by the conditions of your present. Fall back on this faith and remember that tomorrow will be a better day if you just have faith.
